BENEFITS OF JOINING BUSINESS HR
Website
  • BusinessHR’s website contains all the HR documentation which an HR department uses.
  • It will provide members with a complete range of legally compliant clear and simple HR letters, forms, contracts, an employee handbook and customisable policies.
  • Specially written time saving step-by-step guides to recruitment, appraisal, interviewing, the disciplinary process and other HR issues are available on the website. There are also a number of time saving administrative guides on such matters as data protection and expenses policies.
  • The website gives the user access to free on line risk assessments covering both HR and Health and Safety.
  • The website is up-dated on a regular, almost daily, basis by BusinessHR's senior HR advisors to reflect any changes in employment law or practice that have taken place or are about to take place. This ensures that the information provided on the website is totally up-to-date, accurate and legally compliant.
  • Members will be able to register on the website and at no cost, for BusinessHR’s monthly email newsletter. The newsletter provides information on legal changes and developments. BusinessHR's monthly ‘Hot Topic’ e-mail, which provides more in-depth information on a specific HR or legal topic, is available to clients who have paid a subscription.

Advice Line

  • Members will have access in normal office hours to BusinessHR’s HR advisors by both telephone and e-mail, not just for employment and discrimination law related questions but on all aspects of HR and people management.
  • Members can use the service for guidance on how to manage all types of HR issues but it will be especially valuable when they need to talk through and have re-assurance in situations which may have legal ramifications e.g. discipline, absence or poor performance.
  • BusinessHR's advisors all have substantial experience in HR and are fully qualified members of The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
  • The advisors are noted for their pragmatic and relationship building approach to clients and often undertake site visits to further assist clients.
  • The help and advice-line is a friendly and professional service and not an impersonal call centre service.
  • A summary of the advice given to members using the Help and Advice line would be quickly emailed back to those members and BusinessHR's advisors would then keep in contact to ensure that all is well. This is an aspect of service that clients value very highly.

On site consultancy services

  • BusinessHR’s on-site consultancy service is available to all members at very competitive day rates.
  • The consultancy service covers all aspects of HR management such as grievances, disciplinaries, on site HR audits, recruitment, redundancy programmes, training and development, job evaluation exercises or assistance with performance management issues.

Costs for BusinessHR's Services

Unused time on the help and advice line will always be saved for the next question, making the cost of obtaining legally compliant advice demonstrably less than using a solicitor.
