David Danforth, CEO of imageData Group, has been successfully helping to steer a steady ship at the print company for over two decades. As CEO David has overseen the rebranding and restructuring of the business to meet the demands of its clients’ markets. He has enabled the development of separate specialist account teams for the public, retail and corporate sectors to provide its clients with an ever-growing number of value added services.
David and the senior management team have lead the company’s ambitious expansion programme, including the takeover of Leeds-based screen print company, GK Serigraphics in 2003, and Brighton–based, document management company XPS in 2004.
In 2009 David oversaw the opening of imageData Group’s 78,000 sq ft digital facility at Howden, East Yorkshire which houses some of the industry’s leading-edge digital technology.
It is in no small part due to David’s navigational skills that in these troubled economic times imageData Group continues to demonstrate a solid financial performance. Compared with many UK print groups David has ensured that borrowings have been kept to a minimum during its investment programme which places the Group in a very good position going forward.
Lancashire-born David is a Chartered Accountant and joined the company in 1989 as Finance Director, becoming MD of imageData Systems in 1991 and more recently CEO of the imageData Group. He is married to the lovely Amanda and has two grown up children, Emma and Richard.
